After brief layovers in Detroit and Paris, your evening flight lands in Cairo, Egypt. Salam!
Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, your dedicated representative will assist you through passport control formalities as well as luggage identification.
From the airport you will be whisked away by a private A/C vehicle to Conrad Cairo Hotel.
Evening at your leisure.

MONDAY | MARCH 14, 2022
Breakfast at hotel (Included)
You will wake up in Egypt! After breakfast your transfer will pick you up and you will meet your private tour guide, an Egyptologist.
The time has come to enjoy the Cairo you came to experience ...let's start with the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx!
Giza Pyramid Complex:
The complex includes three main pyramids, six little pyramids, the great sphinx, and the Valley Temple. The complex dates back to the 4th dynasty 2400 years B.C. You are here! Can you believe it?
The Great Pyramid:
The Great Pyramid is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids of Giza plateau and the only one to remain intact from the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. The height of the great pyramid is 147 m, the number of stones used in construction is 2,300,000 and it took twenty years to be built.
Imagine climbing the iconic pyramids and riding camels through the complex. Centuries of history ...think of all the people it required to build these striking structures!
The Great Sphinx:
It is the largest statue in the world, standing 73 m. long, 19 m. wide, and 20 m height. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture. What selfie will you take with the Sphinx?
The Valley Temple:
A Granite mortuary temple was used by Ancient Egyptians for the mummification process and this is the only remaining one at Giza plateau
After basking in the wonders of Cairo, you will proceed to have your lunch at an authentic local restaurant in Cairo. Then you will be transferred back to the Conrad Cairo Hotel.

TUESDAY | MARCH 15, 2022

Your tour guide and your private transfer driver will pick you up and whisk you to the amazing, intriguing Egyptian Museum.
The Egyptian Museum:
The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen's collection of treasure, gold, and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years. You will even the blood of Tutankhamen that still is visible on an ancient Egyptian artifact.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Cairo then proceed to visit Amr Ibn Alas Mosque.
Amr Ibn Alas Mosque:
The oldest mosque to be built not only in Egypt but also all over Africa, it dates back to 642 A.D. Due to extensive reconstruction over the centuries, nothing of the original building remains.
Finally, no visit to Cairo is complete without a stop at the Khan El-Khalili bazaar. The bazaar, full of eclectic treasures, rugs, pottery, leather goods, etc., is the oldest and the most famous in the middle east. It was constructed in 970 AD, the same year as the founding of Cairo.

WEDNESDAY | MARCH 16, 2022

It is time for phase two of your adventure. You will check out of the Conrad Cairo. Your driver will arrive to take you to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Aswan. Your airport escort will assist with the airport formalities.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your new tour guide for this leg of your journey. He is also an Egyptologist. You will visit:
The High Dam:
The High Dam was built across the Nile at Aswan and was constructed between 1960 and 1970, and has had a significant effect on the economy and culture of Egypt.
Philae Temple:
The temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis of Love and beauty. The temple complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project, protecting this and other complexes before the 1970 completion of the Aswan High Dam.
Your driver will take you to the pier to check-in your five star Nile Cruise. Your guide will stay with you on the cruise to conduct your tours and make sure you your needs are met.
Take this time to have your lunch and relax.

THURSDAY | MARCH 17, 2022

You will be accompanied by your tour guide and a private air-conditioned vehicle to visit Luxor Highlights including:
Valley of the Kings:
The final resting place of Egypt's rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, it is home to tombs including the great pharaoh Ramses II and boy pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. Most of the decoration inside the tombs still well preserved.
Hatshepsut Temple:
It is one of the most beautiful and best preserved of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together.
Colossi of Memnon:
Two massive stone statues of king Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone which exist in Cairo then moved 700 KM to Luxor.
Karnak Temples:
No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man. It represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples situated on 247 acres of land.

Sail to Kom Ombo and visit Kom Ombo Temple:
A temple overlooking the Nile. This temple is divided into 2 temples with 2 entrances, 2 hypostyle Halls, and 2 sanctuaries.
Sail to Edfu and upon your arrival, Join your tour guide to visit Edfu Temple:
Dedicated to God Horus. Edfu temple considers the most preserved Greco-Roman temple all over Egypt and on its walls portrayed a "Play" shows the overcome of Horus over the devil god Seth.
Sail to Luxor, arrive late at night and overnight on board. If you are nice your tour guide will take you out for a night sightseeing the town at night!

You will check-out from the Nile Cruise in the early morning.
Consider experiencing a morning hot air balloon ride over Luxor. This is a not-to-be missed adventure. Imagine floating in a hot air balloon over the Valley of Kings and ancient Egypt. (Not included. Additional $150.00 per person.)
Your guide will escort you for some personalized sightseeing before your transfer takes you to the airport.
